Hi ! I think I had this problem too some time ago and now I tried to reproduce and to fix it again: I started real player as normal user for the first time and I did also the "Mime Type and Plugin Configuration" where I installed the Netscape Plugin. Now my netscape won't work too ("Bus error") and I think that's the point where you're standing right now. Then I renamed my .netscape directory to something else. Now I could start netscape and the plugin is working well. If you like you can copy some of the old netscape files back to .netscape (like .preferences and bookmark.htm) if you don't like to reconfigure everything. I have just downloaded Real player for Linux- (works great), but now I try to run Netscape and get a bus error from exterm. Netscape won't run at all- Any ideas or is this related to Real player.
