I'm root on our lan with around 50 users. How can I get a list of their passwords? Also, how tolerant are other admins to users who have forgotten their password? At the moment all I can do is allocate them a new password :-( SuSE 8.1 server and clients. BTW My error. I allowed NIS to let passwords be changed. Never again. Thanks, Steve.

All versions of Linux and UNIX behave this way. -- "...our desktop is falling behind stability-wise and feature wise to KDE ...when I went to Mexico in December to the facility where we launched gnome, they had all switched to KDE3." - Miguel de Icaza, March 2003
