If you don't already have a Window List on the panel, add one. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org

The windows open is on the upper bar in the right side. I have one on both users in gnome. The problem is the running windows not showing on the lower task bar. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/

You're getting confused between the Window Selector and the Window List I think. -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org

Even so why does one user display on the lower bar the open windows and the other user does not. Where is the setting to make the change? -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/

I told you! right click on the panel, select Add to Panel and then select the Window List! Jeez, read emails that apply to you! -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org Packages for SUSE: http://usr-local-bin.org/rpms Make Poverty History: http://makepovertyhistory.org

I did its not the same as what the other user is doing where I did NOT ass Window List. So it seems there are two methods one of which worked without my changing something and this one you showed me. At least it works. Ill have to study the config files for GNOME more carefully. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/
