Hi All, I sometimes use Audacity for (shocker!) audio projects, but my momentum with the package has been interrupted: 8.2 - worked great 9.0 - worked great 9.2 - unsolved hardware/kernel issue; sound artifacts (this system) 9.3 - worked great 10.0 - not available in Betas 1-4 or with RC1 I checked the various apt repositories linked from opensuse.org and, unless I somehow overlooked it, I didn't see a 10.0 package available. Does anybody know if one is currently available or in the pipeline? Or should I just try building it myself? For the record, the 9.3 rpm has a dependency conflict/problem under RC1. TIA & regards, - Carl

More good news: I asked the packman guys and they promised me to provide an rpm of audacity for SL 10.0. -- Dr. Martin Sommer Product Manager Consumer Products SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstraße 5, D-90409 Nürnberg Phone: +49 (0) 911 740 530 Fax: +49 (0) 911 740 53 575 Email: martin.sommer@suse.com ----------------------------------------------------------
