How can I increase the number of Recent Documents that KDE Keeps track of ???
It does 12 on my boxen I would like it to do 20. I am running SuSE 8.2 and KDE 3.1.1
I re-read my message, and realized it is probably not clear what I am asking. I know how to increase my "bash history." However, I added a "icon" in my bottom trey which when I click on it says: *** "Recent documents you have used" *** However, it only shows the 12 most recent, I want it to keep track of the last 20. Help ?? Thank you, Gar -- PS To all and to all a good nite, get a life, you are stealing my thread. It is clear... but not many will answer. This thread has developed into a flame war, and regardles of your change of subject, it shows on threaded readers as the original subject line, and therefore, largely ignored (and if it shows, it is pushed to the right side out of the window, and not seen). You should post a completely new message (not a hijacked one), with a subject line that hints suficiently to the question inside, so that people with knowledge of kde etc, have a look inside. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

Interesting! Mine does 15, but I have no idea why. I haven't been able to find this anywhere in the kde configuration files (but I do get a lot of hits, so perhaps I'm overlooking something). I would have thought it would be in the kickerrc file, but no such luck finding it sofar. Regards, Pieter Hulshoff
