I have never received this error before?? Note: I have not logged in from the machine itself... only through webmin... sendmail works, qpopper works... Any ideas? I started getting this out of the blue with 8.2 as well. It only seems to occur with init.d scripts or WebAdmin. The only way I could get it to work was to run "rcapache start" as root from the command line. Oddly enough, the problem went away when I upgraded to 9.0. Regards, Steve
