You haven't lived until you've used a digital camera.... Go to www.dpreview.com or google for digital camera reviews. kenrockwell.com is another good one.

You could try www.dpreview.com , that's fairly well respected. I've used a Nikon D70 with considerable success, if you want a recommendation for a digital SLR, and the D50 and D70s are also well thought of. If you want a really small point-and-shoot, take a look at the Casio range, which do quite a lot of what 'real' cameras do in a very small space. HTH Fergus

:-)))))) I'm in the process of saving my pennies for a Nikon D50 :-) I take it that it works fine in Linux then? -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== PLEASE DON'T drink and drive it's not clever, it's just stupid. At least they are a brand which understands how to make real cameras. If it mounts as a USB device then your fine. If its a memory card then get a card reader and save camera batteries. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/ -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
