For a week or more, I can not update the package heimdal-6874 with YOU, it says it can not get the patch. Perhaps it has been removed, but not the patch description that says it has to be updated? -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
I have the same problem and I try different ftp server. I'm using 7.3 too. Bye Claude Carlos E. R. wrote:

I did it too via FTP and I installed the rpms manually, it worked with no problem. Bye Claude Carlos E. R. wrote:

Yes, but the package heimdal-lib.rpm is missing: that's why YOU fails. Yesterday I emailed Mr Sebastian Krahmer at Suse (he posted the SuSE Security Announcement about heimdal originally), but so far, no answer. [Rant mode on] I hope somebody at SuSe solves that; but I don't know who to write to and get something more than a robot answer :-( [Rant mode off] -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson The 02.10.22 at 23:08, Claude Thibeault wrote:

heimdal-lib is there /export/ftp.gwdg.de/i386/update/7.3 # find . -name heimdal\* ./zq1/heimdal-0.4d-132.src.rpm ./zq1/heimdal.spm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386_de.info ./sec1/heimdal-lib.rpm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386.rpm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386_en.info ./sec2/heimdal-devel-0.4d-132.i386.rpm ./sec2/heimdal-devel-0.4d-132.i386_de.info ./sec2/heimdal-0.4d-132.i386_de.info ./sec2/heimdal.rpm ./sec2/heimdal-devel.rpm ./sec2/heimdal-devel-0.4d-132.i386_en.info ./sec2/heimdal-0.4d-132.i386.rpm ./sec2/heimdal-0.4d-132.i386_en.info ./patches.cont/heimdal-6874 Anders

Huh?
/export/ftp.gwdg.de/i386/update/7.3 # find . -name heimdal\* ./zq1/heimdal-0.4d-132.src.rpm ./zq1/heimdal.spm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386_de.info ./sec1/heimdal-lib.rpm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386.rpm ./sec1/heimdal-lib-0.4d-132.i386_en.info
It should be in sec2, yast2 online update (YOU) doesn't find it there. Either that, or correct the patch info. This is the error I get (I'm testing it right now on another window): Get packages for patch heimdal-6874 Package /var/lib/YaST/patches/i386/update/7.3/heimdal-lib.rpm Failed : File not found on server Failed : File not found on server Notify Can't get patch "heimdal-6874" from server "ftp.gwdg.de". You may try to download remaining patches or go on with installing of already got ones. [Download][Install] -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson

I found the problem: is the patch file. There is a Packages for each package involved, like this: Packages: ## ## -----> heimdal <----- ## Filename: heimdal.rpm Label: heimdal Series: sec --> InstPath: sec2/heimdal-0.4d-132.i386.rpm But, heimdal-lib dos not have the "InstPath" section. ## -----> heimdal-lib <----- ## Filename: heimdal-lib.rpm Label: heimdal-lib Series: sec Size: 916865 352568 Buildtime: 1032870667 BuiltFrom: heimdal.spm Thus, YOU does not know where to download it from. The same will happen for heimdal-devel. That's a bug. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
The problem is a missing file on server: Package /var/lib/YaST/patches/i386/update/7.3/heimdal-lib.rpm Failed : File not found on server Any body from suse can solve it? -- Cheers Carlos Robinson.
