When i try to ssh ( or telnet ) into my new 7.1 server, there is a delay sometimes ( up to 5 seconds ) before I get the bash prompt, this seems to happen intermittently, has anyone else had this problem did

The machine you attempt to login tries to resolve your host's IP address into a hostname. It seems like it is unable to do this and you run into a time out. If you do not use a local nameserver, simply add your host's IP address and host name to the servers /etc/hosts file.
