Hi, I like Gaim, but in conversations with a coworker who uses Windows and the "genuine" AIM client supplied by AOL, I have never been able to get file transfer to work. When one of us (either of us) initiates the transfer, the other is asked for confirmation but then the transfer never happens (if I recall from the last time we tried, after I upgraded from 0.75 to 0.81, there was no error diagnostic, just the lack of any file transfer). Does anyone know about this and what the problem might be? Randall Schulz

Oh, yeah... The "& Friends" part... How do the other AIM clients compare in the extra functionality department? I.e., file transfer, voice, or (not that I'm counting on this one) whiteboarding. Randall Schulz
