[S.u.S.E. Linux] Setting geometry of Applixware windows
I' ve bought and installed Applixware 4.3.7 Office Suite for my Suse but I have a problem: when I start Applix Spreadsheet or other modules, the window goes out of the screen and hides my pager so I can' t resize it because I can' t access the upper window bar nor a menu to close the program. I' ve tried adding the option "-geometry 149x100+0+0" to the command line but Applixware does not accept it: It says "error 255". The question is: how do I change the size and position of Applixware windows at startup? Is there any "applix.rc" or "applix.conf" from which I can change those values? Thanks a lot for your answer. Hi- Applixware comes with a geometry setting application one calls up from the applixware settings when you first start it. Look for something like applixware preferences as a menu option when you first open applix. Its on the menu. I am able to set the default menu size for words and there are more settings you can change. -- ---------------- Michael E. Hi all, I know this is a little off topic, but I cannot find a utility to connect to a Netware 4x server for Linux anywhere. I know there's ncpfs, but that is for bindery connections and it kicks me off after a few minutes and won't let me mount any volumes again until I reboot. Is there any way one can connect and administer a netware 4x server from Linux? I know Caldera has some advanced utilities, but I can't find them anywhere on their web site. I'd be willing to pay if it meant i didn't have to be in Windoze to administer my netware server.
