[opensuse] CUPS printer search problem on OpenSuSE 11.1
Hello listmates, Apparently, unlike under many other versions of Linux including SuSE 10.3, under 11.1 CUPS is not capable of scanning the network for available printers. Here are some references to this problem: http://forums.opensuse.org/network-internet/394600-cups-scan-printers-doesnt... http://forums.opensuse.org/network-internet/387625-cups-1-3-7-find-new-print... but sadly no solution appears to have been offered. Has anybody dealt with this issue? Do you know what's happening? is there any way to fix this? Thanks for any tips. Cheers, Boris. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Apparently, under openSUSE 11.1 it works well for me. Perhaps on your systems its is https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=449570 but I would not understand why it is not also fixed on your system.
