Https in Konqueror KDE 2.2
When I want to log on to my banking site, I get "Https protocol not supported" in Konqueror Kde 2.2. This used to work in Kde 2.1 and 2.2beta. I supposed they have not simply dropped the protocol and it must be a configuration issue. What can I do? Thanks Fxf -- ______________________ Courtesy of SuSE Linux

I got the same thing as well..but then again my bank lets me use Mozilla 0.9.3 but rejects Netscape 6.X *grin* It could be a bug in 2.2 final or maybe just the SuSE packages..it worked in Beta1. -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org "Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom" --General Patton
It seems that SuSE some how forgot to enable SSL on the 2.2.0-final build. Clicking the little pad lock in Konqueror reports "SSL support is not available in this build of KDE." I can't believe this. All we can do is hope that by the time of the official announcement SuSE will have more polished binaries available... I wonder if some of the other problems I'm having with KDE 2.2 are SuSE related? -Tim On Tuesday 14 August 2001 03:32 am, Ben Rosenberg wrote:
