[opensuse] broken update to Firefox 15.0
Hi 12.1 with zypper update yesterday. Firefox crashes every time it is closed: "We're sorry Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts." During the session however, it works fine. Why the crash message? Anyone else? The 15.0 on 12.2 RC2 works OK; no crash at the end of the session. It just closes. Meetoo on one of my test systems, except I can't remember which one, or whether it was in 12.1 or 12.2. I think it was 12.2. I just tried on the system currently up, and it crashes on 12.1 but not 12.2. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=778351 -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Hi Yeah, it's OK on 12.2 here too. Crashes only with 12.1 and as in the bug report, only after you close it. It works fine during a session. L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Using FF 15.0 on 12.1 x86 and x86_64 with not show those issues. Tested on KDE KDE4.7.2 with KUA, KR4.8 and KR49 . Agreed not showed on oS 12.2 KDE 4.8.4 either. What's the possiblitty you got incomplete package or corrupted updates ? Is there a way to check it? Or what about a special FF configuration not able to make a nice update? How to know it? I know this is not a solution just questioning how we can check or verify what is wrong in our idiosincratic crash. Hope someone could enlight us here.
