oracle rmp for PHP in Suse 9.1?
is there an Oracle rpm to install through Yast for PHP...or is this somthing I have to do when compiling PHP?

Not sure, but you could test this package, without recompiling. http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/168955/com/php-oracle-4.0.3pl1-1... And check with php -m if it gets recognized. it just adds this two files: /usr/lib/php/extensions/oci8.so /usr/lib/php/extensions/oracle.so CI.-
