The trick I used was simply to copy the dosutil folder to the c: drive and autoboot off the drive. This worked smoothly on an IBM 755CD model your milage may very. Need data pls. make model and specs also where its a single or dual boot system ch Edgar F. Hilton wrote:

Has anybody succeeded in getting SUSE5.2 to work with their Thinpad? Forget about XF86, or /dev/hda*. I am talking about bare minimum booting off the installation floppies.
