[opensuse] Kopete: getting rid off colorfull outgoing messages
Hi all! I started using Kopete instead of aMSN because with it I could have a multi-protocol IM client... My MSN contacts (haven't tried with other protocols yet) started to ask me "hey, how do you manage to get a different color (rainbow-like) for every line?".. as I find this quite annoying I've been (unsuccessfully) looking for right option to turn this feature off... By the time I type these lines, I can manage to have color-less (or single-colored) incoming messages... So, could you please tell me where to look for the option to switch off that clumsy feature?? TIA, Martin ____________________________________________________________________________________ We won't tell. Get more on shows you hate to love (and love to hate): Yahoo! Configure, Appearance, Chat Window, and maybe try Retropete Style. There are many options. It does not endear yourself to those wanting to be a help to start using a program and then bashing IT because you cannot figure out how to do something. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.2 x86_64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Look at Settings->Configure Plugins...->Text Effect. It's not on by default so expect some deja vu. Will (Kopete maintainer at SUSE) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
