[SLE] KDE libraries choking on my SuSE 6.3
When I try to start any KDE application, the app crashes with a library error. For example:
kcontrol kcontrol: error in loading shared libraries: /opt/kde/lib/libkdecore.so.2: undefined symbol: __ti7QDialog
I get pretty much similar problems with any KDE app. Nothing works - here is another example:
kdehelp kdehelp: error in loading shared libraries: /opt/kde/lib/libkhtmlw.so.2: undefined symbol: __ti6QFrame
I just updated my system from SuSE 5.3 to 6.3, and KDE worked fine on the old system. I have pretty much all new RPMs. KDE, the base system and gcc are all updated to SuSE 6.3. All my other apps, including others in the /opt directory - GNOME and Netscape 4.7 - are working fine. ** Where should I start looking to troubleshoot this? I have combed websites and manpages and I am without a clue. It is a big problem for me as my significant other's favorite game is a KDE game, so when I finish using 6.3 I must reboot this home PC to a 5.3 partition for my SO. dproc -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
