IPTABLES start script
After looking through the susefirewall2 setup, it says at the begging if you just want simple masquerading run these lines.. This alludes to not running the susefirewall2 scripts? Where do I put the iptables command so it is executed every time my system is started? Does anyone have a rc script that they use for simple masq'ing without port filtering? Thanks Eric

Here (with the help of a post from Alfredo Figueroa some months ago), is what I do under 7.0 : In /sbin/init.d/rc2.d I have a script S53Gateway : #! /bin/bash echo "Starting Internet Gateway" echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward ipchains -A forward -j MASQ -i ppp0 It works for me.
