[SuSE Linux] strange coincidences with kernel upgrade
I had some issues before with sendmail locking all my email down until lenz helped me with some configuration stuff. I went in then and told yast to leave my resolv.conf and hosts alone since it liked to "beautify" them. Now after applying the kernel, it seems that yast changed things back on its own. This seems rather strange and I noticed it doing a mailq and seeing all my morning's email queued up wiating for a sendmail -q to be issued. Has anyone seen yast reset values like this? I cannot believe that this is linked to upgrading to kernel 2.2.4. Any opinions or comments out there? -- Michael Perry mperry@basin.com ---------------------- -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
