Hello I've been researching the K7S5A boards from ECS because I wanted to buy one. And I stumbled accross the text below. It seems that the board has problems running at CPU 133/RAM 133Mhz. Especially the T-bird 1400 seems a likely victim. Has anyone seen this behavior? Is it stable with Linux? Thanks Guy link to the formum http://forum.ocworkbench.com/ocwbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=003792 ______________________________________________________ Get Your FREE FlashMail Address now at http://www.flashmail.com It's Free, Easy, & Fun !!!

I'm running 512M of pc133 memory on this board, with the bios set to ram 133, but I have a duron 750. The board is inexpensive so I wouldn't expect it to run flawlessly if you push it's design limits.

I have that board with a Tbird 1400, plus 512MB of DDRAM. The FSB is running at 266Mhz and the CPU at AMD specs. No problems at all. -- burns
