i'm running OS 11.1 as a headless server / Xen-guest. console-kit-daemon is launched @ boot. apparently the option to disable it via chkconfig has been removed, and it now auto-launches via dbus (cat /etc/dbus-1/system.d/ConsoleKit.conf). what is it for? why's it launched/required on a server, and if it's not, what's the right way to shut it down? thanks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
