Totally do-able, my suggestion would be to start with just a default
install which takes up a surprisingly little bit of hard drive space, then
just add the packages dealing with printing. Afterwhich you can start
removing some of the unnecessary fat that also gets installed, for
example, as I recall, theres about 4 shells installed and a few packaging
programs other then rpm, bzip and gzip.
I would first let it accomodate any dependencies it may require, then
after it's all installed and running, save the current selection list and
then start trimming the unnecessary files. This will give to a returning
point in case something weird happens. After you complete al the trimming
you need, resave the selection list so you have a base for future installs
of a similar setup.
Anyway, these are my opions, feel free to take them with a grain of salt
as needed.
