[opensuse] 2~2~2~Can clonezilla be "used" inside openSUSE?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I know that it is used as a live cd or stick, but I wonder if could create an external hard disk with openSUSE and the clonezilla tools. The external would be the live system, the storage space for the images, and a familiar Linux system, with openSUSE, that would do more than just clone/restore a system. I suppose it is a script and some tools like partclone. Anybody tried? - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. Maybe: <https://clonezilla.org/livehd.php> Clonezilla Live on Hard Drive In this doc we explain how to put clonezilla live in your harddrive which already has an OS installed. Here we use grub boot loader as an example. You have to put the clonezilla live files in a FAT, ext2/3, reiserfs or any grub supported partition. ......... But what they do is create a new partition, and a grub entry for it. So, not really what I wanted. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)
