Where do Tumbleweed questions for WSL install belong?
All, Saw a question on StackOverflow about tmux only running the first time it is called. Attempting to run again fails with the error "/run/tmux/1000 (No such file or directory)" https://stackoverflow.com/q/75997451/3422102 The rub is this is a Tumbleweed install on WSL from the MS store. I suggested this list for specific help -- but that got me thinking -- is there some other list (that humans actually read) that is more appropriate for issue with WSL installs? -- David C. I am a human (beep, bopp, borp) and I read this list :) As well as having a direct role w/ WSL. I'd say here is just fine and other suggestions are welcome, but I don't find it overly useful to watch things like Reddit/Discord/Matrix/IRC/etc. waiting for something WSL to pop up. Basically, I/we - as part of the WSL team - are available to talk about anyone's thoughts/feeling about WSL when related things are shared. I'll check out that link, but tmux gives me no issues/oddities in WSL [Tumbleweed]. -- ~ Scott Bradnick |- Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) Developer |-- Tumbleweed: |--- Beelink SER6 Pro [AMD Rembrandt [Radeon 680M]] (x86_64) |--- Dell Precision 5540 [NVIDIA Quadro T1000] (x86_64) |--- O-DROID H2+ [UHD Graphics 600] (x86_64) |--- IceWhale ZimaBoard 832 [Intel HD Graphics 500] (x86_64) |--- WinBook TW100 (x86_64) https://keys.openpgp.org/ :: DBC5AA9A2D2BAEBC

Ahh, good to know Scott, When you follow the link, you will see my suggestions, attempt to recreate with the restricted deletion flag (sticky bit) and if all else fails try a reinstall of tmux. I've never run into that an issue with the state dir not being present (at least since SUSE 7.0 Pro...) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
