Hi SuSErs, Did anyone run into this problem? I'm using openssh 2.3.0p1 and command ssh-keygen -l -f .ssh/id_dsa.pub produces: .ssh/id_dsa.pub is not a valid key file while the key is pretty usable. rsa keys are processed without problems. Thanks, -Kastus
Hi has anybody got wine working on Suse 6.4 if so what version, I tried to get version 20001002 but never had any luck, In case you do not know versions are year-month-day or 2000-10-02 see more at www.winehq.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.226 / Virus Database: 108 - Release Date: 1-5-01
Am using 7.0, but my answer should also apply. I have had the best success by compiling wine from source. 1)Download and tar -xzvf the latest build you can find -- 2) Mount all your windows drives (if any) 3)run ./tools/wineinstall from the root directory containing the wine source, as explained in the README. In my experience this compiles and installs wine, especially configured for my system, including an appropriate wine.ini which recognises my windows drives. It should be noted that wine is still ALPHA software, and that many Windows programmes will not run. However, many DO run, and in fact I have had Imagine for Windows running better under wine/linux than under W98! PS Welcome to another fellow NZer!
