Except for the bit about loading a config file. I don't know if it's ok in 7.3, but the kernels I've tried have the wrong vmlinuz.config. If you're running suse it's much better to use make cloneconfig, since that uses the choices from /proc/config.gz which are guaranteed to be correct, since they're picked dynamically from the running kernel. //Anders On Saturday 03 November 2001 00.16, dids wrote:
