[opensuse] how to change login screen?
Hello, How can I change the login screen? (if this is not the correct name: I mean that screen that appears when booting is cmplete or when you log out as a user, where you choose which user to use and enter the password). I am on Suse 10.0, just updated KDE to 3.5.7 - and now I have the new blue Suse login screen, but I'd prefer to have my old one... I had this problem once before and I know I must just change something in a file - but I forgot what and which file and googling didn't help. I hope you will :-) thanks Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Switzerland professional photography: http://www.daniel-bauer.com erotic art photos: http://www.bauer-nudes.com/en/linux.html Madagascar special: http://www.fotograf-basel.ch/madagascar/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

kdmrc
Set: UseTheme=false
Thanks Felix, locate found several kdmrc's and of course I started with the wrong ones :-) finally I remembered that it is in /etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc where I just had to change Theme=/opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/themes/SUSE to Theme= (changing UseTheme in /opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc and in /opt/kde3/share/config/SuSE/default/kdmrc changed nothing) Thanks for the hint, kind regards Daniel -- Daniel Bauer photographer Basel Switzerland professional photography: http://www.daniel-bauer.com erotic art photos: http://www.bauer-nudes.com/en/linux.html Madagascar special: http://www.fotograf-basel.ch/madagascar/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
