Fetchmail used not to do this. Since 7.1, whenever Fetchmail runs, it seems to listen on more and more ports the longer it runs. Previously, it would close connections as soon as mail was downloaded. Have you downloaded the updated fetchmail rpm from SuSE's site? Hope it helps, _____________ Alvaro Novo SuSE 7.1 -=- Kernel 2.4.2-4 -=- KDE 2.1 11:51pm up 2:57, 2 users, load average: 0.04, 0.07, 0.07
I am running the version from the official site. It works really well in 7.1..go grab that one...it's 5.7.7. => =>Have you downloaded the updated fetchmail rpm from SuSE's site? => -- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.
