Java Applets appear in separate window ( konqueror )
Anyone know why my java applets are spawning a new window instead of appearing in the web page ( konqueror ) I cant think what Ive done wrong. dids
What version of Konq and what version of Java are you using. Konq from KDE 2.0 use to do that to me until I A. upgraded KDE2 and B. used a new java...such as Sun's 1.2.2 or IBM 1.3.X versions. Let us know if this is the case..because that will fix your issue. Nahh..shouldn't be the case. Did you just replace link to /usr/lib/java with a link to the IBM package or are you putting direct paths in Konq's configuration in the config centre? I specified it..because just letting it find it on it's own never seemed to work. Hi: In Settings-> Configure Konqueror -> Konqueror Browser -> Java you might have your "Show Java Console" box checked. Just uncheck, if it is checked, and that may fix the problem -- Cheers, Jonathan
