Hi Mark,
Here is a question for the SuSE guys, from a new SuSE customer: Which parts of the SuSE CD's cannot be copied? For example, Redhat ships Metro-X, which you cannot freely redistribute. Are there any similar restrictions that would prevent me from making copies of the SuSE distribution?
One thing definetely, the YaST is a commercial program which can not be copied without the written permission from SuSE. But for all freewares under the GPL come with the box, you can copy them for free, what you have to do is just to remain the copyright notice together with the new copy, as GPL requires. Best, Frederic -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
