Any one else having a problem connecting to secure sites since downloaded the latest updates to KDE 3.5.4? (kdebase3 v 3.5.4-19.1) for example clicking the 'open bugs for 10.0' link on http://en.opensuse.org/Submitting_Bug_Reports results in a 'Could not connect to host bugzilla.novell.com' error. _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web!

Yep. I can't connect to bugzilla.novell.com from the latest version of Konqueror. Also kdesu does not recognised my root password. This is on SuSE 10.0 -- Regards, Graham Smith

Are you sure the update the OP was referring to applied only to 3.5.4, Ken? I might be mistaken, but it seemed to me the same one (SSL related) showed up and was installed on this system last night / early a.m. regards, Carl

There were some SSL handshake changes in KDE 3.5.4, since the previous methods did not always use the strongest cypher. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=199138 Ciao, Marcus
