Hello,
this get's a bit annoying: since I've installed 5.2, everytime SuSEconfig is run, the default runlevel in inittab is changed from 3 to 2.
There _must_ be a variable in rc.config, but I can't find it.
Look at this: # # SuSEconfig can do some modifications to /etc/inittab. If you don't want # this, set CHECK_INITTAB to no. (yes/no) # CHECK_INITTAB=yes # # Here you can set the default Display manager (kdm/xdm/console). # Attention: CHECK_INITTAB has to be set to yes, to activate this feature. # DISPLAYMANAGER=console Ciao, BB -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

I don't see this among my options in he rc.config file or under YAST. Where is this? Bodo Bauer wrote:

I use 5.1. I don't seem to have an .xinitrc file either in my root directory (I usually X as root-user). Juergen Braukmann wrote:

If it's not in your /etc/rc.config, just append it. -Wolfgang -- PGP 2 welcome: Mail me, subject "send PGP-key". If you've nothing at all to hide, you must be boring.
