[opensuse] Tbird help -- I can't read messages from Carlos - Everyone else is OK. Is it a signature issue?
All, (Wolfgang), I don't know what happened to my tbird, but for some reason unexplained, I can no longer view any e-mail sent by our dear Carlos E.R. in the tbird view pane. I can ctrl+u and view source and it's there, but it will not display otherwise. Further, the normal enigmail button bar that displays over a signed message never displays. I believe it is due to enigmail, but do not know how to fix it. For instance, with Carlos' last reply to "Re: [opensuse] MCE: The hardware reports a non fatal," viewing the source I find: ... --67rS4HBAaNuJc7p6Mif4CfFqPuHKs9wS7 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" ... <snip> Could this be a mozilla (nss or other) mismatch problem? I have FF 52, but Tbird 45.8 (because tbird is unbearable in gtk+3). That is the only thing I can think of. I can tell the log is related to the signature, but I can't tell if the "[GNUPG:] KEYEXPIRED 1349830844" status is related to the fact that no message is displayed.
Has anyone run into this problems before? How do I get rid of this issue? (I like messages from Carlos...) How do I test this? I can read every other message on the list -- just not the ones from Carlos??
You can read every other message including other signed ones using the same signature technique? If so, then perhaps the 'key expired' message means exactly what it says? I'm not aware of my key having expired. IIRC, I did not set an expiry date. And in any case, it should display the post with a warning, not display a blank. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. You mail server refuses my ISP mail. So I'm sending this post with another ISP, and unsigned.
I have now six undelivered messages; some of them are for "Return Receipt (displayed)" messages. I understand that his provider intentionally blocks my provider, which as can be seen uses several IPs (the load is spread on several machines, my ISP is big).
