SuSEconfig problems
Hi, Couple days ago I updated my thinkpad 7.2-> 8.0. I must say I was very impressed since Suse did it all by itself and seems like everything is working... Today however I installed True fonts and run SuSEconfig and got following info: . . . Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.susewm... SuSEwm: ERROR: gnome: no "name" defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! SuSEwm: ERROR: wmaker: no name defined ! Executing /sbin/conf.d/SuSEconfig.tetex... . . . Since I'm using wmmaker, this got me worried. I might be wrong, but I had a similar error referring to gnome, and cured it by going to Kcontrol->System->LoginManager and adding "gnome" to the sessions list. Wojtek, I think you will find it is notthing to worry about as this I believe is something that KOffice caused and they still don't have it cleared up. You can turn off the susewm part of SuSEconfig, but someone more knowledgeable will have to give you instructions there. Otherwise, don't worry about it, it is not a problem and will not affect the operation of anything.
