Is this a SUSE package? Has your installation by chance moved to a different location? I have seen a similar thing happen before. The following is worth trying:
1) type in about:config in the URL box. 2) search for browser.shell.checkDefaultBrowser 3) If set to false, which is my guess, double-click the setting which should set it to true. 4) Restart firefox and when prompted select yes for setting as default browser.
Hope this helps,
Yes it is a SUSE package. You are right. The browser.shell.checkDefaultBrowser was set to false. I changed it to true. But when should I be promted for default browser ?. I still cannot get URL's from Thunderbird opened with Firefox -- Venlig hilsen - Best regards - Erik Jakobsen Licensed HAM-RADIO with the callsign OZ4KK http://www.urbakken.dk Registered Linux user #114875 with http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That is intentional since Firefox is already confirmed as default browser in gconf. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
