I have Bind 9 running, but it does not start on boot-up. SuSE 7.2 Pro is the OS. Is there a similar chkconfig on Redhat. Any suggestions. I have to start it manually with rcnamed start. I can post the rcnamed string if need be.

I can post the rcnamed string if need be. Silly, but sometimes powerful: Have you set START_NAMED to "yes". If so: What does syslog say ? Do you get "failed" on startup ?
