RE: [SLE] mouse, works on install but not after reboot
I am finding some archives that refer to: chkconfig --del hwscan as being the solution. removes the hardware scan from all reboots, but I'm jst a newbie - what do I know. -----Original Message----- From: Francois Maisonneuve [mailto:fma.linux@laposte.net] Sent: Friday, November 21, 2003 11:12 AM To: SLE Subject: Re: [SLE] mouse, works on install but not after reboot reactivate it by using 'yast mouse' just simply use the Test button, then cancel that means that you have the right mouse model we used that because we have a KVM Francois
well, my set-up went fine - the mouse functioned normally, however, when i rebooted it went off and scanned for hardware and could not find my mouse. It asked for me to enter the mouse and i choose the same one the installation program used (tabbed to accept and continued). the kdm screen came up with the X for the mouse but no action from the mouse. it is driving me nuts.
