[opensuse] systemd-logind fails after update of dbus etc
Yesterday I installed all the patches on a 13.1 system, which I turn on about once or twice a week. I recall that after the update I had to reexec systemd and restart dbus and the services that depend on it, but systemd-logind failed to restart, which probably caused other services to fail, too. Perhaps some timeout occurred or restarting xdm was related, and the issue disappeared after a while. Now, after booting this system, the message: Failed to open private bus connection: Failed to connect to socket /run/user/0/dbus/user_bus_socket: No such file or directory appears in the system log. Is it related to the previous errors? Has anyone else seen any of this? Is the cause known? -- Regards, Peter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
