I have a free X509 certificate from www.cacert.org, which I have sucessfully imported into Firefox. From Firefox I've exported the cert as a PKCS#12 backup file. I then used KDE Control Centre (Crypto applet) to import the certificate bundle which works OK, it asks if I want to use the certificate for email signing I say yes and it opens Kleopatra which asks for the passphrase and then complains that it can't decrypt the certificate.
