kinternet network usage monitoring
Hi, Have recently upgraded from dialup to capped ADSL and would therefore like to keep note of the MB's I download on a daily basis. I ask as when I have looked at the kinternet log after a dialup session, the time spent and MB's sent and recd was avvailable for me to monitor. When I checked the kinternet log via 'View log' on KDE when I had ADSL the log display was empty? Is it possible to get kinternet on SuSE 9.2 to provide this information, if not via KDE then by using the cli? -- ======================================================================== Currently using SuSE 9.2 Professional with KDE and Mozilla 1.7.2 Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org ========================================================================

I have similar situation; on dialup 'accounting' (included in SUSE's smpppd package) was my friend and on broadband (cable-modem) I use vnstat I downloaded separately from http://humdi.net/vnstat/ .
