[SuSE Linux] Upgrading KDE
Hi guys, sorry if this is a really annoying question but if you just point me in a direction that would be great. I have just (very easily) installed Suse 6.0 and now want to upgrade KDE to version 1.1, I have been to KDE's site and found the directory RPMs and there are loads of RPMs I just wondered which ones I should install and then what to do with them when I get them. Hi, Regarding the rpms found at <A HREF="ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/KDE/1.1-with-qt-1.42/</A">ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/KDE/1.1-with-qt-1.42/</A>, is qtstreams.h found here? Some KDE utils don't compile without it. It is easu, download all the files at SusE, they will be in RPM formats, than get out of KDE (very important step), than use YaSt, go to where you delete and install packages, you have the option to chose a directory, and point to the directory of the rpm's, select and install ----- Original Message ----- From: Jon Trygve Utne <jont@ii.uib.no> To: Neil Edwards <neiled@clara.net> Cc: <suse-linux-e@suse.com> Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 1999 11:43 PM Subject: Re: [SuSE Linux] Upgrading KDE
