Thank you one & all for the suggestions. I finally got my favourite, xine, to work. :-) It required the kde-gui before it stopped crashing, but I'd already d/l the libs so that may have contributed. My problems w/the d/l amounted to not being able to read German very well. <LOL> ...CH -- SuSE Is All U Need. --Especially when xine works. :-)
