LPT Scanner and SCSI emulation

Hello Chaps ! Amoung the messages on the mailing list there was something about scsi emulation aimed at handling a CDRW (burning CD's). Is there a similar way to emulate SCSI in order to have a IDE LPT scanner working ? (Acer Prisa 310P) Rgds to all Jacek
