Just curious - what is this stuff right above? I see it in a few emails and notice that it turns out in big yellow blocks when I read it in KMail. (I'm using NeoMail right now.) Is this an encryption thing? -- k

It is the pgp signature of the Email Carlos wrote. It is not an "encyrption thing" as you didn't need it to decrypt to be able to read it. It basicly gives you the possibility to check if the content of the email from Carlos has been changed on the transport to your mailbox. You would need the public key from him to check that. Have a look at for a start. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGP

It is a signature using encryption methods. You should not see it, you should see a note or icon or something telling you if the signature is valid or not. Otherwise, it should simply hide it and mention that it doesn't support gpg/pgp. I use it always because in the Spanish list we had a guy that took to pose as other people insulting the rest and causing lot of grief. By the way, your NeoMail breaks threading. Don't use it if you can. - -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Made with pgp4pine 1.76 iD8DBQFEW910tTMYHG2NR9URAssGAJ9NkRx6A2u+xYsB29F6IifSukekowCeOsgR lTqzc2a1LTCGq3GaJ/rTT3Q= =nGrq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
