Hello fellow Susers, I've been trying to get a grip on cron and am slowly making headway. But first a few words about what I'd like to do.. I'd like for cron ti run a script that takes the contents of a log, emails them to a certain adress and erases the log, also I'd like a cron to run a script that checks a file (i.e a log) for a particular word (postfix maillog for the word "REJECT" or perhaps my firewall for a certain phrase or word and emails me if that word is found) May it suffice to say I have no previous experience of scripts. Anyway, if anyone has any help,pointers or tips I'd appreciate them. Thanks Thomas
