that would be kweatherservice and kweatherreport $ kweatherservice $ kweatherreport location (location isn't a zip code, it's a weather code) however I can could never get it to work so I installed http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/yaWP+(Yet+Another+Weather +Plasmoid)?content=94106 and put the widget on my desktop. If anyone has gotten kweather to work please send a howto :) Thanx. -- Michael S. Can you see it in the collection of widgets ?. If not how do you move it to the panel ? -- Med venlig hilsen / Best regards Erik Jakobsen OZ4KK eja@urbakken.dk Registered Linux user #114875 - http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I do not think kweather will be on the widget list. However you can install http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Weather+Plasmoid?content=84251 and put that on the panel. You may have to restart KDE. I had to to add a widget. -- Michael S. Dunsavage -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I removed the kweather applet from my panel and it appeared in the list of applets I then selected it and like magic it had returned to my panel again. Therefore if it is not visible then it is either not installed or broken. Trust me it works, please don't sow confusion. I have kweather installed, and it NEVER EVER showed up in the widget list. Infact kweather never worked. I'm not "sowing confusion" I'm just stating what I went through. But thanks for almost calling me a troll though. -- Michael S. Dunsavage -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hi and thanks for the reply. I have installed the widget, but want it to be more visible. Please have a look at the attachment. By the way, I downloaded the SuSE option -- Med venlig hilsen / Best regards Erik Jakobsen OZ4KK eja@urbakken.dk Registered Linux user #114875 - http://counter.li.org

I ended putting it on my desktop. I don't know if you can resize a panel widget. I don't want to "sow confusion" maybe someone else knows. -- Michael S. Dunsavage -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hey, I don't think putting it on the taskbar is a good idea, just right click on the desktop add widget and add from there. It's still looks kinda odd, it doesn't let me configure fonts, and if I resize it at some point text is not resized properly. Back to my battle with KDE 4... Thanks to all who has replied to my query. The trick that did it was to choose KDE 3.5.x And the old well known applet are back again :-) -- Med venlig hilsen / Best regards Erik Jakobsen OZ4KK eja@urbakken.dk Registered Linux user #114875 - http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
