[opensuse] Any 10.3 updates yet?
Hi all, I've been playing with 10.3 for a month or so now, and have noticed that after the initial install, I haven't been offered any updates. The little green gecko head with the spiral arrows round it in the menu-bar thingy just says "your system is up to date" any time I hover over it. Is this true? It seems odd that there would be zero updates in the last month or more, given that this is a relatively new release. Of course, if it's so, then that's great, but I thought I should check in case there's something misconfigured resulting in no checks being made. (My system is gnome-only, having been installed from the CD, rather than from the DVD). Cheers, Simon "You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers. I think it depends on what software you have - of course, when you first installed, you got the latest updates downloaded. I have noticed a few updates in the past week but nothing major other than a kernel update. (I saw this, because when I went to run VMWare and the Cisco VPN client they both bombed and I had to re-run the setup.) I'm on kernel 2.6.22.18-0.2-default. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

We release regular online updates. Last week should have seen at least the kernel and clamav. Check if the sources contain http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/ or similar. (zypper sl to check) Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
