I'm totally guessing at this - but I hope this helps! Sounds like you need to specify where the index is... Go to Adjustments of Installation - Select Installation Medium. And select your CDROM. I vaguely remembering having this problem when I had 5.3. If its not that option it'll be on of the others in there.
