RC1 1 CD install ready to test
Hello Team Thanks to SUSE.de for another most outstanding release. Both 1 CD iso's are available again without any modifications to the actual packages. The Gnome iso is nearly there thanks to Magnus and he will announce it tomorrow, once it is tested and uploaded. To do more we will need more people as we are currently quite stretched and I do not think that I personally can handle more workload. I have delayed the -modified iso's now for quite some time. The golem.de and distrowatch articles about openSUSE and SUPER have been received very positively and has raised expectations that I fear I cannot fulfill alone. Please consider helping as this user contributed project will otherwise stay at its current 1 CD install level. http://www.opensuse.org/SUPER You can find the iso's on ftp://opensuse.linux.co.nz/pub/SUPER/iso/ or http://opensuse.linux.co.nz/ftp/pub/SUPER/iso/ Any bugs should also be reported to the main 1 CD install site http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/1_CD_install Thanks for all the nice emails of the last days. Good night and have fun Regards, Andreas Girardet

The 1 CD iso for GNOME is currently being uploaded to Andreas server. The WIKI page for the 1 CD Install (http://www.opensuse.org/1_CD_install) will be updated this weekend with a GNOME section. Feel free to add whatever packages you feel are missing or shouldn't be in there. After I added the K3B Cd burned utility (KDE app), Two new menu items appeared, namely; KDE Resources and .hidden (these could be seen in early beta's). I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I did something wrong, causing them appear, but I will try to find out asap. Also, mono is not on the ISO but I will work on getting it added over the next few days. Key apps on the ISO is; Firefox, OpenOffice, Evolution, The GIMP and GAIM. Thanks, Magnus the

Hello team Well done Magnus! Great Australia-New Zealand collaboration ..... I have now made the gnome iso live on http://opensuse.linux.co.nz/ftp/pub/SUPER/iso/super-openSUSE-RC1-20050909-st... ftp://opensuse.linux.co.nz/pub/SUPER/iso/super-openSUSE-RC1-20050909-standard-gnome.iso I hope that one day we might be able to host these on the official opensuse.org ftp site and mirrors. Would that be possible? I have also updated the wiki pages with this info.
